TUHRULAN ISÄNTÄ

Tuhrulan Isäntä is a cover rock band from Joensuu, Finland. We play Finnish pop-rock classics, mostly from 70's and 80's plus some self-translated American classics. The band has existed for 2-3 years now and has been playing here and there now and then.

Jouko Korhonen: guitar, vocals
Jorma Saukkonen: lead guitar, vocals
J-P Vartiainen: bass, vocals
Matti Toivanen: keyboards, harmonica
Ari Korhonen: drums

All the band members have a sort of a musical history in youth. Growing up, earning a living, having a family and all other activities replaced music for years, until a spark has again lit. To play is a dear hobby that we take so seriously - it's good to have fun sounding good!
